SDS Optic, HQ in Poland and publicly listed at Warsaw Stock Exchange, has been founded mid 2013 as limited liability company with the focus to develop photonics technologies in healthcare space.

SDS Optic Inc. is first ever European based cutting-edge MedTech connecting molecular biology with novel photonics technologies, chemistry & biomedical engineering to create solutions that can revolutionize healthcare worldwide, incl. first ever In Vivo Photonics Immunoassays platform - inPROBE® technology.

The SDS Optic’s main project is inPROBE, a micron-size single-cell resolution fibre optic microprobe for breast cancer real-time diagnostics. The tip of the probe, covered with biological compounds, enables sensing specific cancer biomarkers in vivo (no tissue biopsy).

Our first in-human application is for HER2+ breast cancers diagnosis. inPROBE is a much less invasive test method than a traditional biopsy. Our solution will reduce the time of waiting for cancer-related results from weeks to minutes.

These advantages make our technology the "future of cancer diagnosing".

inPROBE is developed as a Technology Platform with a great potential to use in other areas, such as infectious and fungal diseases diagnostics or real-time drug delivery monitoring. Our solution uniquely merges Photonics with Molecular Biology, Chemistry & Biomedical Engineering.
At this moment clinical trial of inPROBE for HER2+ breast cancer diagnostics is on track. At the same time R&D teams working on other indications of the technology.
